Evaluation 3
What have you learnt from your audience feedback?
This is the questionnaire I shared with students, coworkers and friends who are within the target audience age range I picked for my work. I shared this document with 32 people, within and outside of my target market.
In the presentation below I have analysed the results from my questionnaire and given a brief statement saying what I think individually each result tells me about my film trailer.
What have I learnt?
From doing an audience questionnaire i have learnt that it is important to do so. My audience's opinion on my work is the only one that really matters ( besides mine) and luckily I managed to please them. It was a good opportunity for me to see what I could do better, if I was to do it again but also good for me to see which aspects of my trailer that they liked best. I've also learnt the effectiveness of doing research prior to making it. The questionnaire I did during my research and planning enabled me to tailor my work to the likes and needs of my target audience. I hadn't used photoshop before this project so when it came to my ancillary task I was nervous I wouldn't be able to get it to a good standard but from my questionnaire feedback the words 'professional' and 'fitting' to describe my tasks showed me that I was wrong in thinking I couldn't do it and by sticking to the typical codes and conventions I was able to complete the tasks to a high standard.

Creating my magazine cover
My magazine Cover
On the left is the original image that I took to get to the image I have now I had to use the magic wand tool to remove the background image. Then I decided that the image would look good in black and white so I pick between the three different types of black and white to end up with my final magazine cover.
On the right is my first draft, as you can see I have been playing around with fonts and the placing of the block colours.
For inspiration I looked at existing magazine covers, I really liked the block colours around the writing so I decided to create my own version, I fiddled around with the colours and the placing of the blocks but decided that they looked best at the bottom.

Film Poster
To create this poster I used Photoshop, I was unable to get Will and Tasha at the same place at the same time so I took a photo of them individually and put them together. I used an effect called ' halftone screen' over tasha and Will, I did this because I think it gives off an indie, low-fi vibe which is exactly what im looking for, for this trailer.
